Kitsap County offers a wide variety of indoor fun through theater programming. Port Gamble Theater is a local non-profit that puts on wonderful productions. Bainbridge Performing Arts offers great shows and theater classes for kids and adults. Also, Bremerton Community Theater will be featuring three exciting productions this year: Three Sisters, Mary Poppins, and Murder on the Orient Express. The Jewel Box Theatre in Poulsbo has lively shows like Improv Comedy as well as a new Spotlight Series that will include evenings with authors and matinee concerts.

Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and The Point Casino & Hotel in Kingston
Kitsap County is home to two popular casinos: The Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and The Point Casino & Hotel. You can gamble, enjoy sports exhibitions, listen to live music, or dance the night away. Also, Clearwater offers an RV Park, golf packages, and a spa. In addition, the Point offers a Boom Boom Bingo Bar for those wanting to play, enjoy live music, or participate in a night of karaoke. They also have an RV park and dining options.

The Brothers Greenhouse in Port Orchard
The Brothers Greenhouse is home to the Hobbit House, a tiny Hobbit-inspired house with a rooftop garden display. You can enter it free of charge. It’s like going back in time for some indoor fun. As an independent gardening shop that sells quality plants, the shop prides itself on its healthy growing environment. Additionally, their local Facebook page includes events and workshops for visitors to enjoy in the early spring and late fall.

U.S. Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport
For those looking to learn more about the Navy’s undersea operations, look no further than right here in Kitsap County. This museum provides insight into the research, combat, and cutting-edge technology used by the United States undersea force. Also, the new exhibit, “Giving Voice to the Silent Service”, explores the strong community and identity associated with submariners and their families. This museum has a strong educational outreach program, offering summer camps, annual events, and field trip opportunities for local schools.

The Trails at Silverdale and Kitsap Mall in Silverdale
The Trails at Silverdale offers a contemporary indoor/outdoor shopping experience with a wide variety of restaurant options. The center houses everything from specialty wine and grocery stores, to home and clothing shops.
A traditional indoor mall, Kitsap Mall houses some of the area’s major department stores and a variety of unique stores and restaurants. Either place provides a fun way to spend an afternoon with friends looking for that perfect gift or taking advantage of a great sale.

DEFY Silverdale
Not just for kids, this giant trampoline park in Silverdale is fun for all ages. Whether it’s a date night, friends and family night, or a kids’ birthday party – this is the perfect spot for getting some energy out on those rainy days. Extreme dodgeball, a ninja course, a zip line, and battle beams will leave those who come sweaty and happy! Also, there are a variety of membership options.
Cost: $13+ | Open: Daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Open until 9:00 PM on Saturdays. Closed the first Tuesday of every month from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM for Special Needs Family Night.
Java & Clay Cafe in Gig Harbor
Located on the picturesque waterfront of downtown Gig Harbor, this pottery studio has a great selection of paint-your-own pieces that are constantly changing with the seasons. Grab some friends for a night out, drop in anytime without reservations if the mood strikes, or plan a birthday party at this unique studio. With a wide variety of snacks and drinks, the venue transitions smoothly from a cafe to grab a coffee or tea in the morning to a fun place to grab a glass of wine and dessert in the evening. High Tea at Cafe Tenby in Port Townsend
Cafe Tenby is a modern tea house and cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and high tea in the heart of Port Townsend. Their high tea offers a wide assortment of sandwiches, scones, pastries, fruit, and (of course) a wide variety of teas. The Royal High Tea includes a glass of sparkling wine as well. Kelley Winchester and Andrew Griffiths opened the cafe after extensive training in the baking business. Customers can also purchase Pippa’s Real Tea, the loose-leaf tea served in the cafe, by visiting their online tea store.
